The Spanish Association of Neuropsychiatry - Mental Health Professionals was established in 1924. Since then it’s a reference of all sciences and mental health professions in Spain.
The purposes of the Spanish Neuropsychiatric Association, Mental Health Professionals, are to contribute, by every means within its power, to a greater and deeper understanding of the mental health sciences and to ensure the continued commitment of such sciences with the reality, so that the knowledge attained at each historic moment shall directly and practically affect the transformation and improvement of the Spanish psychiatric care and, therefore, in the welfare of the patients and of the population in general.
