As a result, the activities will be held across two different locations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The three workshops<\/strong> scheduled for the afternoon of Thursday, November 26, will take place in classrooms at <strong>Hospital Universitario La Princesa<\/strong>, located at C\/ Diego de Le\u00f3n 62.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Course presentations and lectures will be held in the auditorium of UGT<\/strong> on Friday, November 27, both in the morning and afternoon, at Avda de Am\u00e9rica 25.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have also introduced some changes in the structure of the presentations, with the aim of facilitating the exchange of perspectives and encouraging debate on the selected topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For this edition, we have chosen three thematic axes that we consider highly relevant, both from a knowledge perspective\u2014covering clinical practice, psychopathology, demographic and social contexts, and comprehensive care (psychotherapeutic and psychosocial)\u2014and with particular attention to issues related to the prescription and deprescribing of psychopharmacological treatments in people with psychosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list lista-temas lista-temas-3\">\n<li><strong>PRESCRIBING \u2013 DEPRESCRIBING<\/strong><br>Prof. Martin Zinler, Germany, and a Professor from Valencia, Spain<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>DIVERSITY: GENDER, ETHNIC, AND CULTURAL<\/strong><br>Prof. Oye Gureje, Nigeria, and Prof. Iria Prieto, originally from Madrid and currently working in the United Kingdom<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SUBJECTIVITY<\/strong><br>Prof. Paul M\u00f8ller, Norway, and Prof. Enric Novella, Valencia, Spain<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To introduce each of these thematic areas, we will have one internationally renowned expert alongside a colleague from the Spanish context. All of them bring substantial experience and a strong reputation in their respective fields, ensuring a high standard of discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding the <strong>workshops<\/strong>, the selected topics and faculty are, in our view, of great current interest and relevance:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list lista-temas lista-temas-3\">\n<li><strong>Relational Approach to Psychosis: Tools from the Open Dialogue Framework for Clinical Practice<\/strong><br>Prof. Cangas \u2013 University of Almer\u00eda \u2013 FAISEM<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>In Psychosis: One by One<\/strong><br>Prof. Chus G\u00f3mez \u2013 Hospital of Pi\u00f1or, Ourense<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Understanding Psychotic Responses through the PTMF (Power, Threat and Meaning Framework): Support from a Person-Centred Model<\/strong><br>Prof. Mikel Valverde \u2013 Pamplona<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As is tradition, participants are also invited to submit <strong>posters<\/strong> on topics related to psychosis. This year, we introduce the addition of awarding <strong>prizes to the top 3 posters<\/strong>, as determined by the Advisory Committee, based on their relevance, scientific rigor, and innovative contribution, in line with the spirit and tradition of the Course. The prize will consist of free registration for the next (31st) edition of the Course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As in previous years, we have dedicated our experience and best efforts to deliver an Course worthy of your interest.
